Dr. Puri is a board-certified periodontist with a passion for transforming smiles and advancing the science of periodontal care. After earning his dental degree in India, he completed a one-year externship as a house surgeon in oral and maxillofacial surgery, followed by advanced training in the U.S. at the Indiana University School of Dentistry, where he earned a Master of Science in Dentistry, along with certificates in periodontics and implantology.
His published research and clinical interests include periodontal regeneration, immune response in chronic periodontitis, and the emerging role of stem cells in restorative care. In 2013, Dr. Puri achieved diplomate status with the American Board of Periodontology, a distinction held by an elite group of specialists recognized for exceptional expertise. In addition to his clinical practice, he is a respected educator and speaker who lectures nationally and serves as a director for Great Blue Heron seminars through the Seattle Study Club.
